This dataset provides license plate images of 4,000 vehicles in Japan, captured from multiple front and rear angles. It covers license plates from across Japan excluding the greater Tokyo and Kansai areas. Suitable for training AI models for object detection and license plate recognition.

Collection method: Real-world photography (smartphone, various parking locations, 3 angles per vehicle)
Attributes: Resolution (longest side 360px or more) / time of day (daytime 40%, evening 30%, night 30%)
